I got the green light from the game author just now(Sent a copy to them for approval first).
Firstly, as thanks to the people who translated the game(actually, it’s me who wanted it, I’m always happy to read comments about stuff I like), I would appreciate if you could leave a comment telling what you think of the game after you finished the main story(well, you can leave one even if you don’t but I think the best part is the storyline. I love the storyline and the world concept. It’s like watching a thrilling drama. I’m a gourmet for stories.). What to comment? Maybe what do you think of the game? Is it as good as you think? Is it hard?(I think it’s a very hard game and I really have to follow a guide to play, MSN3 is much easier but some people have no problems). Maybe something interesting you find about the game.

There are quite a lot of changes(well, more like enhancements) compare to the original Chinese version in the end…What is different?
- Stat page has more stats. You can view battle stats there now which does not appear before. Like Battle Lvl, Battle Exp & MP.
- I added various mouse hover hints in the game so you can understand better.
- After a battle, it’ll show how much battle exp you’ll get now along with the items and gold. It’ll also say you’ve gained a level when you level up.
- Added more information that explains some of the confusing parts of the game. You can get the info by talking with the people in town.
- Added a feedback when you cannot perform Special Attack or Magic and show how much MP you need to perform them. Before, if you don’t have enough MP, there’s just nothing happen if you click Sp. Attack or Magic and looks like it’s broken. I also added the amount of MP needed to perform in the stat page.
- I turn on skip clicking. It was turned off before and you have to wait and cannot skip any dialogue.
- You can have 5 characters for names and Sp. Attack instead of 4 now. I would make it 6 characters but it would mess up the layout if say someone named him WWWWWW(it is 2/3 times longer than normal 5 characters). Of course normally people wouldn’t name like that.
- You seem to directly quit the game after an ending which is weird. I set it to restart the game to the main menu.
- Added in some kind of perks that grant you a bit more money and family reputation during the starting of the game. You may have to discover it yourself.
- Some changes to main sidebar layout and work/class going through sidebar layout so that Name and surname is in different lines and Weapon and Armor in different lines too.
Etc. There are quite a number of small things changed and I don’t remember all of them.

In the future if there are any new patches, I would release both XP patch and Win7 patch here. This is because strangely, the position of texts seem to be different in the two OS. I’m not sure how Vista would appear as no one in the game tester group has Vista. All has Win7. Vista users try both XP or Win7 patch to see which one is better.
All future patches will be the very same download link as any new patch will replace the old one so you won’t be downloading any outdated patch (The magic of Dropbox, turn any file into direct link).

ok when I tried in a 32-bit version of Windows 7 (with another machine) it worked. Either its because it doesnt work in Win 7 x64 or because something was wrong with some other setting on that machine? Maybe the language settings? I wouldn’t even know where to start..
I’m not very sure either. If someone manage to open it up with Win7 64bit please do tell. I know in the past someone had this error before in the middle of game but it was fixed. After that there doesn’t seem to have anyone testing with this problem anymore even with using different language. It said there to be a conversion of ANSI to Unicode change. ANSI and Unicode are a type of character encoding. Usually non-English languages use Unicode now. But I think the scripts in the game are using ANSI.
seems that the game does not like Japanese system locale, had the same error but it dissapered after i switched language for non-unicode games to en (us).
I have 64-bit Windows 7, and haven’t experienced this error.
I had the same problem but I changed the locate to chinese and it worked hope this helps.

The main plot is activated by stats automatically. You need to raise some stats high enough for plot1&2. At plot2 it’ll start to drop hints or tell you what you need to do next. If there is no hint, you need to visit around places. It has nothing to do with stats(there are a bit of non-stat requirement along the way) until end of plot12 where you need stats again.
For all romance plot, other than their love rating requirement, they are all activated by visiting somewhere, sometimes has stat requirements & age requirements. For Dean and Ares you need to win a competition midway of plot…
(There’s a reason why I make this face) You have to be careful with Player, Dean, Ares, Yvette romance plot because too late in the main plot and you can’t continue if you’re too early in the romance plot. Player & main plot has some connections with Dean’s plot and you might want to progress a little but not too much.
Well, that explains a lot.. Sorry, I’m no good. I think I’ll stick by the easiest endings for now.
I don’t get a difference between “Career Trigger” and “Ending Stats” though.. Can you explain them to me, please? Because I’ve gotten only 3 endings apart from the bad ones, which is lame, since I’m playing it since grade school and I helped topostarlight’s site a bit. Oh, joy.
Career Trigger is requirements to get that career but you still have to have the ending stats before you click the button to go for the ending. Some does not have career trigger and you just need to get the stat right and just proceed to the ending. Since stats can decrease/change even after you manage to trigger the career.

I’m getting an error and the game freeze evertime I choose “excersize” in Leisure… I’m using windows 7 x64. Other than that, great job, you guys!!! BTW, is there any other way to raise attack other than excersizing?
Please download the patch again. I think I fixed it just now. Combat classes(if you choose attack type teacher) and Home Combat class does raise attack I think?
Sorry, the game still freeze up when it’s tims to excersize… I would take a screenshot if I could, but I just get weird charachters instead of letters or chinese… the errorbox is labeled “information” and the only thing inside that I can read is jianshen.ks and the number 102. Don’t know if it’s any help…

Hi! It’s me, kami, one of your testers. I use a Vista computer and I wanted to confirm that either patch (XP and 7) works fine for Vista. 🙂
Both patch works for XP or Win7 too actually. Just that the top statbar and the setting schedule top year and month position is off. I’m just not sure Vista follow the XP position or Win7 position.
Notice to say that I’m starting class and probably need full focus to do my assignments. I have to curb looking at forums/comments(well, it’s hard but I’ll try not to). May need to wait a while to fix if anyone discover a bug. So, I’ll be checking and fix bugs every Tue night/Wed which I have more time.

Btw, I take a look at my schedule again and noticed that I got it wrong. It is Tue/Wed I have time.
I noticed that the game crashes pretty often. It happened to me when my son turned 19 (I’ve always thought that 18th birthday was the last one..) and when he took the first etiquette test. A window full of weird stuff like ????/c;/games/prince maker/data.xp3??? popped outta nowhere, the game froze and no matter how I changed the schedule, it didn’t work. I’ll try changing the language to chinese, maybe it’ll work.. Oh, and in some places the text doesn’t fit into the boxes, but it’s still readable. If I remember correctly, it happens when your boss talks to you after you finished work, and when your Son and Twilight discuss the relationship between Prime Minister and Head Priest. I have Windows XP 32-bit.
I have one more question that the guide doesn’t answer – How do you meet Goddess of Love? >w< I had the required stats at 999 (lots of farm work..) and I didn't meet her. Can you help me? I am so close to getting my Ares-babe, it's just depressing ;_;
I don’t know if I can fix the “????/c;/games/prince maker/data.xp3???”. It seems different from the normal error I’ve seen. Can you screenshot for me as I have no idea how to fix it if I don’t have necessary details. The text out of box stuff too. I don’t know which boss you’re talking about. I use Simplified Chinese as my non-unicode language if it helps.
You meet the Goddess of Love by adventuring in Deity Land I think if my memory is right, I don’t remember which Deity Land right now.
Are you using the newest patch? I remember I fixed the Etiquette test 1st June.
EDIT: ok, I found the text out of box for the Human Head Priest and the Prime Minister incident. But I still don’t know which boss that has the problem.
When I try to increase the affection with the player / sister/brother using love goddess pray it increase Twilight affection instead and when I check the affection level with the player /sister/ brther using water dragon it didn’t show their affection level instead it just said love can change anytime.
Ok, I found the two and fixed it. The love goddess was using the old code. This is one of the reason that the translated game has a lot of problems because early on, the first person who unpack used the old very buggy scripts instead of the new patch scripts, we found out about it only recently and it was HELL trying to compare and fix the new patch script with the old ones which I suspected I missed some and the love goddess is what is missed. The other reason is I type all of the change to next line script with manually which is [r] & [lrc] and I have to type that a lot for every line which I sometimes type [t] or something else. The other common error is the name error which needed to be quoted if the name has space. The original version never has a space for names so they don’t need quotes. Translated ver. has a lot like “Huo Nijie”. Another thing is cannot use apostrophe for name variable as the game use apostrophe to quote the variable. So all those ‘The Minister’s Daughter’ have become ‘The Minister Daughter’.
And the water dragon is because I add in the male & female variable wrong(I set it to sex=female/male(sex is female/male) instead of sex==female/male(equals) so when you check it got skipped) because the original doesn’t have gender distinguish pronoun. But I want to wait for Mikan’s reply before I put out the patch.
Ok, I have to go to sleep soon so I’ll put up the newest patch first. Mikan’s problem will have to be addressed next time. Please dl newest patch up there.

I think Carr (the Art Gallery boss) was the one that didn’t fit in the box, I don’t remember now. But I recall that the Market boss didn’t fit too. I’ll check it when I can… I’ll try to get everything ready by tomorrow.

*New Patch 8 June 12*
Fix a lot of position related problems:
1) Fixed Management Class that was too long and got cut off to the next line
2) Quite a few dialogues out of box fixed.
3) Fixed when adventuring in Cleansing Land there was once an East become West. It was West also in the original ver.
4) The Human General name changes from Felicia to Bien Allen when you go on the Main Storyline route. It was like that in the original ver. game @.@ I decided to change to Felicia.
5) Fixed the position of the Showdown button when ending the game.
6) Fixed the ending credits where all the Home Tuition will always show zero.
7) Fixed the ending transition back to the start of the game because before it was kind of abrupt when restarting the game.
8) Fixed the item list screen where Human-Realm Signet will overlap with the description.
9) Fixed the Magic Fusion place a bit. Spell 1&2 become Chant 1&2 because it is the same Spell but two line Spell Chant. Nightmare Stone go out of the box so I shorten it to Nightmare St. The stone fusion middle column should look nicer a bit I think.
-Not sure what else. Cannot remember. There is no error fix(I did not get any critical error reports). This patch will make the text position nicer.
Can’t even start the game without an error message loading up. I’m using the Win 7 version, but I only get the blue screen and a pop-up error message with a bunch of characters. Not sure what to do really…

There’s something wrong with save slots. I deleted them from the folder, but the slot is still filled. I’ve thought you might wanna know.
Actually you have to delete the whole folder. If you see there is a datasc.ksd and datasu.ksd. These or one of them are controlling the caching of the save files.

Yes, it’s better to name your brother different each time, otherwise it’s rather hard to distinguish them.

I almost forgot about it since I redownload the game from 4shared and have to wait for the download the finish. But I just tested it and the 4shared link have no problem un-zipping and playing the game. You probably did not finish download it because I saw that winrar tried to rebuilt/repair the zip file which only happens when the download is unfinished. The file is 256MB. Maybe I’ll split it. Does splitting to 3 files each 86MB and upload them to Mediafire ok?
The file I downloaded is 256MB too, and IDM shows it as completed, which is why I find it weird. But yes, maybe there’s some error while downloading and it’s really not finished. I’ll try to download it again tomorrow 😛 But if you can upload it to mediafire I’ll be really glad (haven’t had any problem with download from MF so far)

Beside that, thank you for translating the game . It was even better than I expected (believe me after keep checking this site for a while I have high expectetion) and I love how the player has part in the storyline too (I have played a game similar to this and the player has no part of the storyline like this one). The story is good (and rather realistic too). Can’t wait for MSN 3. It was only after I found out about this game that I regret not learning Chinese as my mother wanted me too. (Simply because I’m really bad at it that I give up after my second time trying to learn).

Yeah, Chinese is kinda hard for people not born in a family using it and you need to memorize all the words because all of them look different. My friend’s parents doesn’t know Chinese and they speak English at home but they send him to a Chinese school during primary school. Which he came home crying if I remember correctly. In the end his parents send him to English school and he took Chinese night school for 3 years only.
My other friend took Chinese as subject in uni and ask me to teach her. It was a really big effort to teach her to speak properly which in the end still can’t make it sound right. She said she can’t pronounce the sound of an alphabet even before she took the subject. But she won’t tell me what alphabet she can’t pronounce.

Hi! First off, thank you for all your hard work! I was just lamenting how much I would love to have a male version of Princess Maker, and yes! It appears to be fully translated!
That said, I want to inform you of some bug I found while playing the game. It is the same one reported before that crashed it: “????/c;/games/prince maker/data.xp3???” Unfortunately, I can’t get a screenshot as I completed that playthrough, but I do remember that the boss I was fighting was in Infinity Hill. The boss was the “test” to get the Spiritual Blade that was buried by the late Lilla (or something). According to the Rose guide, it had a CG with it, so that might be related?
Actual scratch that, I can’t exactly recall what the error said (I assumed it was the same one reported above, but it might not have been), but at least I know what boss caused it. XD If it helps in any way. If I run into it again, I’ll be sure to make a screenshot this time!

Have you set the non-unicode of your system to English? Because I saw it popup the ANSI to Unicode change problem which is most people are having.

No plans to translate any yet. I played MSN3 like more than a year ago so I don’t really remember. If I’m not wrong, it’s 50 years later and he gave me the impression that he is a bit too easy-going. Weird Ojisan? All of the candidates stay in Island of Three Realms to study and all three previous candidates become teachers. The new caretaker has an obvious character. You are very violent and always scold/hit people. I find this very funny and rather cute. 😀 The kid also has an obvious double character too. A gentle one and a rather bad temper one. You also have a butler that somehow always say sarcasm stuff to you(he knows you in the past from the Deity Realm). There’s a masked man teacher and I really have fun “stripping” him throughout the game. 😀 He’ll take off his armor, than his mask as you go on with his storyline. Heehee. There is a purple girl teacher which I remember as a klutz and Dean’s adopted daughter which is really strong at fighting. I guess these sum up the people you can get to be married.
You, (I’ll just call you Aleno) and the Baiyu can romance overlapping characters. The funny thing is they all became jealous of each other especially if you try to mix romance. Aleno is also a teacher and you can choose to teach the other two candidates. It feels more like taking care of 3 kids instead of one. Aleno and Baiyu have much equal storylines with a lot of characters.
There’s a weird thing, Twilight seem to have vanished, nothing is mentioned. MSN2 caretaker you never see her. She’s supposed to be the silent protagonist and she still is in MSN3. She spent all the game time adventuring outside finding a solution to something. Maybe Twilight followed her. You married Dean and have two kids…
Well, MSN3 is more about self discovery rather than discovering the world like MSN2. It’s still a great story but it is tons easier to play. I don’t even use a guide to play. But all the endings become mission based, you know what you need to do and just try get it. Some people gave reviews about the ending being too predictable and the caretaker have too obvious character. He/she wrote a lengthy post about it. What he/she meant is the game felt more like an interactive novel rather than a sim raising game.

The story seems very nice, and the art is amazing too. I think it is nice that the Caretaker has an personality, as opposed to MSN2’s vague and unheard answers.

They never get married so it’s the most obvious clue that the kid and Ares are together. I mean it’s more weird they are not married to any girl at all at their age in MSN3 if they like girls. This game is like that. They don’t present BL stuff directly but you get it by deduction and hints.

Can someone help me with this ;o? I’ve been feeding so much gold now to the love goddess to pray for Dean. She keeps saying “Boy, have you thought of this before… If love comes by praying, is it real love?”
Am I doing something here? I’ve paid a lot of gold already in an attempt to get the “Match Made in Heaven” Statement but she hasn’t budged. I checked the affection ratings, and it wasn’t that high for family affection with the player, though the dragon kept saying Dean was perfect for him.

The love goddess won’t say that. Only the water dragon will tell you what is your current relationship.
So the dragon has to say that they’re both a Match Made in Heaven then?
When I talked to him it says that “You two are a perfect match.” (Dean)
Is this still different from the “Match Made in Heaven” statement?
Also for the player it says that “She is a bit favorable towards you, although the future is uncertain.” Does this imply a high family affection value ;x?

It is the same meaning. The dragon won’t say match made in heaven. He’ll say something similar.
Kinship value and Player Love value is different. If you want to know Kinship and Friendship, you have to ask another dragon.

That is a random event. You can run into Dean or Ares during picnic but it has no effect on storyline. If I’m not wrong it does raises a bit of affection(?)
There is no need to lower kinship. There is no low requirement for kinship to get Dean or Ares.

sorry, i don’t mean to be a pain again. But is there any special thing one needs to do to activate main storyline plot 8? Meeting Dean at Lante Manor? I have activated the events up to that point…but he doesn’t seem to be showing up. My prince is age 16 with high stats in everything and max rep with all three kingdoms.
My internet is down for 1+ day so I didn’t manage to reply yesterday. You must get Dean’s plot up to 2. If you become lovers with him already(plot 5), you’re locked out of the main storyline. Don’t be angry though, I think the guide got warn about it?
Is there a way to make the boy grow less? For some reason every time I don’t starve whole time he gets 180+ cm tall when turns 14 (one playthrough he even grew 10 cm on his birthday (!?) One of the guides advised to purchase the platform..er.. grow-higher shoes to make him grow because he stays short but I have yet to see him being short past 12 years old…so I wondered what is the reason.
It depends on how you raised him. I have changed that he grow easier now compare to the original version if you exercise or go to gym a lot of times(But it shouldn’t be that easy though, you need to go quite a lot of times). If you did not go to gym or exercise he should grow the same as the original. I’m not very sure if picking different blood type or birthday month has any influence over it though since I did not check. Does it happen every new game or this game? If there is a problem I’ll go and check.
So far it happened to me in all my games but I think I sent him to exercise at least few times in all of them and I definitely send him to workout classes if that’s what you meant by gym. I think the growth rate he normally has between months is fine even if a bit fast, but occasionally he grows up 6-8 cm when it’s his birthday which seems a bit abnormal. I tried a new game when I didn’t send him to exercise at all (though he still went to workout classes) and he is 171 cm at 14 years old now (slowly grew up to 178 cm by his 15th birthday) which is quite normal compared to the 188 cm he had at 14 years old last game. This game is so far one of the slowest growth ones I have had.
Since I’m already replying, I also wanted to mention that one of the items wandering merchant sells is translated as Kissia’s Sword when buying it and then shows up as Kris’ sword in his inventory. I noticed a number of other (mostly grammatical) errors as well but I don’t know whether you are fixing any of that in patches.

I have look at it and I can’t find anything that increase his height during birthdays. I think it might be the code I added to the home exercise and workout class although it shouldn’t be able to increase that much in a month according to my logic(coding). Probably there is something wrong with my logic or coding. Anyway, I cut down the height increment of the exercises. Hopefully it doesn’t grow more than 4cm in a month now. I also fixed the Kissia Sword. The new patch is up there. Tell me if there is still something wrong.

I stumbled upon this gem while I was re-playing Princess Maker 2, and I’m really impressed! I always wanted to raise a prince! Moreso, I’m very impressed with the English translation, you did a fantastic job! I’m sad to report, however, that the game often does not display text in the text boxes. It’s not positioned wrong, it just isn’t there. Because of this, the game hurridly speeds off onto the next task like it was on fast-forward. I’m missing some things going on. Did I accidentally trigger a fast-forward option? Or do you think it might be a problem with my computer? (Win 7, Dual Core 2.1gh, 2G Mem) — Again, I want to stress that you are awesome for translating this!
This will only happen to the shops and schedule activities where the stuff he said is always repeated. In the original version you have to wait out every text(cannot skip by clicking which is a big hassle when playing the game) and these two places is on auto go to next dialogue mode when he finish saying. This is the side effect where I turn on skipping the text by clicking, it’ll skip the first and second dialogues during the activities if you click the screen, that’s why you see the second dialogue as blank. I didn’t found a way to fix it. I was thinking about turning everything to wait click before it goes to the next dialogue/action but there’ll be a lot of clicking which will probably hurt the fingers so I left it like that in the end since they’re not saying anything important. What you can do to improve this is don’t click when the activity starts and just let it play out by itself, if the text is too fast to read, you can try set the text speed to slow. It should display the text. If it still doesn’t display any text please tell me.

Hello I’m having trouble with patching the game. I have tried copying and pasting the patch in the same folder as the game but it is still in Chinese. I have done this with both patches and it still doesn’t work.
That is because you cannot patch the original Chinese game. You have to re-download the game specified in this post. There is no way it’ll be in Chinese because it is already in English even without the patch. The patch in this post is to fix some of the problems in the English game.

Even though I’ve already met him multiple times, Dean is not an option in the list of people to raise affection with via the Love Goddess. Is that supposed to happen? I can check the relationship with the Water Dragon, but not the other way around. If I’m locking myself out of that option, please inform me?
The option will only appear when you touched their love route. I don’t remember well but the first 3 times are friendship route and I think it’s when you met him for the 4th time in Dean’s route that the love route is opened. Same with Ares.

Hi, I’m having a problem with entering dates at the beginning. When I enter a date and click confirm the date resets to Jan 1st. If I click confirm on Jan 1st it will accept that date though. This happens for both birthdays.

You don’t open the patch. You just put it in the same folder as the game itself and you can start the game.

I found you don’t have to change your locale to English (at least in XP Pro)
Use Microsoft AppLocale and set it to Chinese (Simplified) (The top option between the two Chinese options, Traditional doesn’t work either) and it should run just fine.
So if your like me and have your locale to Japanese for all the OTHER games you need it for this will help for playing this one game.

From what I've read in the guide, If I wanted the kid to end up with Dean, then he won't be a prince. But what about Ares? Can I be a prince and be with him?
Is there a guide that says so? I think he can be king and still end up with Dean or Ares. Career endings and relationship endings are separated. Other than courtesan ending.

Oh, also, when you talk with Dean in Lante’s House (8th storyline event) the “But to find the mother…” doesn’t also fit in the box.
And the part 10th storyline event, when you meet Deity Queen in Mediham. The “Your mother does not accept fate…” part doesn’t fit in the box.
Also, when you meet Dean at the party after a comepition and he says “You tell me to treat everyone sincerely…” it doesn’t fit in the box.

How do you use magic during the Combat Tournament? I only have Attack – two empty spaces – Rest – Tools. Also, which stat is “defense” against Magic? It doesn’t seem to be Dexterity, since Dean took like 30 HP points from me with one magic spell (Ares’ took 70 HP, got me worried for a second). I’ve got maxed Dexterity so Dean’s physical attack took like 1 HP from me. My lowest stats are – Gentleness at 46, Etiquette at 13, Endurance at 269, Morals at 116 and Arts at 319, the rest is 400+

If I’m not wrong since it was so long ago. You need to craft the magic first with stones or something and name it something before you can use it. I don’t remember which stat defense against magic. Probably magic itself? Urgh, I knew I missed some of the names(there may be a lot more) of the items since they are all over the place in scripts and I translate them at different times so I change them from time to time when I find them not suitable.

Yes, same. Not sure if the patch is up to date but since I didn’t update the patch for a long time, it should be up to date, you can just download the patch and reapply, it’s a small file. Just explore until you ran out of days and you’ll automatically go home.

Hi, I am having the birthday glitch that a few other people above have noted. Basically, if I try to type in a different birthday in the text box and hit confirm, it resets the boxes to 1/1 as if nothing had happened. I have the patch in the same folder as the msn.exe so I don’t think that’s the problem.
That’s a big problem. Wonder why no one noticed long time ago. I’ll try to fix it a few days after. Coincidentally I have a few days holiday soon so I have some free time to refresh how to do it(Pretty much forgotten everything).
Someone has informed me that she has no problem entering different birthday. Maybe you entered it differently that it couldn’t accept like language difference or some other program is interfering with it. What did you enter?
I’m sorry to interrupt, but I noticed that the box CAN reset itself. It happens when you enter a number larger than 31 in day and larger than 12 in month. I’ve tried all sorts of dates and they all were accepted if entered correctly (first box – day second box – month). Just going to leave that there.

Hey, thanks for following up so quickly. What Mikan said was right. I managed to enter the birthdays I wanted and have been happily playing this game for the last two days.
I did have a question about another aspect of the game if that’s OK. I’ve been trying to complete the caretaker romance path but it won’t let me trigger event 4, where I am supposed to meet Dean in Lia. Brother is 18 now and the God of Ice told us our love is a “perfect match” (love points = 74 at end credits). All my stats are over 800, combat level 3, official reputation over 1000, and family reputation around 600.
To be honest, I don’t remember anymore. But if I’m not wrong, there is another tier above “perfect match” called “Match Made in Heaven” or something which occur at 80 or 90. Maybe you can try increase that and see if you can meet Dean or not.
Hey, I figured it out so I decided I would post here for anyone having difficulty. You cannot trigger the 4th event on caretaker romance route if you have already triggered event 8 on main storyline (where you meet Dean at Lante House and learn more about the role of the Emperor of the 3 Realms).
Have you seen roses-to-vials? It’s got pretty much everything needed to pass the game. Also, you might want to post under a name, since showing your email is pretty much asking for spam.

It’s hard to choose an ending in MSN2. It’s great that in MSN3 you can choose which ending you want after you have achieved a few. Say, you achieved the trials for 3 jobs. It the end, you can choose between the 3 jobs(which makes it very easy to get the 3 endings just by reloading the last save file).
It seems event 8 on the main storyline does lock out a lot of things.

But don’t go trigger the 10th event in the main storyline until you finish her story.To not be confused with the guide, the 9th event is to meet the Deity Queen. You’ll automatically trigger the Deity princess event before you trigger the next main storyline event(if you have finish her event up to the 2nd).
But after that you need to avoid that place until you finish her story.”

I haven't even play some more Time to Star 2 to write a proper review after having some serious slowdown and lag problems with the map which is quite un-playable when beta came out.
T_T ah, any idea of how to fix a bug that causes the game to crash? Both when Nijie shows up at my house (all of my hard work getting Nijie!), and when the kid takes the etiquette test– I get an error message and the game freezes. any help would be appreciated!
If you’ve applied patch then there is no other way then skipping the part or fixing the code and release another patch. BTW, please post the error screenshot.

It’s just a confirmation you want to continue or not cause it’ll run the ending. If there is anything you forgot to do, maybe need to equip/use some item as stats will change if you do, you can wait a while and equip it first before continue.

Hi! Just wanted to thank you for translating this wonderful game. I’ve been looking for something like this since playing Princess Maker 2. I played it three times and the last time I used a guide to let him become emperor. I really liked the story. The only thing that got boring pretty fast was the fighting. I really wish they’d translate the third part und put it on Steam or something. I’d definitely be willing to pay for it.

I was able to download the english patch just fine, but when I go to the 4share website it says “The file link that you requested is not valid.” Is there another way to download the game?

Hi; I don’t think anyone’s mentioned this, but how would I go about fixing the fact that this game is literally unplayable since I can’t get about 5 minutes into it without it randomly closing?
I haven’t heard people having this randomly closing problem so I’m not very sure. What you use to play?
I am amazed by the quality of this game, the appearance, the music, the dialogues (even if I just started playing). And given that quality, your and everyone’s decision to make it available for free is really admirable. Kudos and thank you! Ok so I played it a few times, I noticed that a few lines were not totally in their boxes but I don’t remember exactly where they were (it was in Dean’s story but I can’t be more precise, sorry!!), and there were a few recurrent grammatical errors (like “dare to”, or “even though/but”). (I really don’t mean to be rude but I thought this could be helpful. Maybe more helpful if I could pinpoint where the misboxed lines are, but I was too taken in the story to take notes^^)
That’s it for the negative points, because otherwise I liked it a lot. It was nice to find a real plot where Princess Maker only gave us an introductive story that didn’t have any real purpose in the game, and I was actually sad for the little guy when he chose to be Emperor. I also liked all the similarities between the two games (it was a nice surprise to see that Alfa Games went as far as to recreate the famous “Undress” from Princess Maker, even if this is a little bit more SFW)… I still prefer the original version but Prince Maker is a nice game of its own.
Hi, it’s ok. I do know there are some glaring bugs/typos and text out of box parts cause every line needed to be manually edited so I may have missed some.

Sorry, nothing came to my head. ^^; There may not be a way to see some of the points when playing the game as listed in guide as the figures are for developers to trigger the endings. The game will just give you vague hints if you are on that ending.

hello, idk if this WordPress is still active but any help would be appreciated. I can’t seem to launch the game, I get an error in Japanese that basically boils down to “there’s a script error, ANSI incompatible with unicode”, according to my friend who can understand the language. I’m not sure why I can’t launch it as it used to work before.
Pretty sure you need to change your system unicode settings to whatever the game originally was in.
